Vision

Labour Rigths Promotion Network Foundation (LPN) is an organisation that aims to promote quality of life for workers. This includes rights-protection, equality promotion, self-reliance, and peaceful living together in society.

Target


The fundamental rights, and other rights granted by laws, are guaranteed and implmented equally for migrant workers, their families and dependants, in order to ensure their improvement of quality of life and safe migration.

Main Strategies


1. Operational research and analysis to support information based actions concerning grievance of migrant workers, communities as well as societal and policy-related issues
2. Development of projects addressing problems and needs of the workers
3. Direct assistance in legal counsel and access to fundamental rights
4. Development of networks with government agencies, non-governmental organisations and community organisations at both provincial and national levels
5. Rights-based policy advocacy to support workers' fundamental rights including labour rights; rights to health, education and social services
6. Formation of learning process and participation of workers towards self-reliance

Objectives


1. To promote mutual understanding and assimilation of migrant workers and their families into Thai society
2. To promote access to rights-protection for migrant workers and their families
3. To build capacity of networks of Thai/migrant workers, their families, and communities in order to attain self-reliance with cooperation of government and civil society
4. To raise awareness of shared responsibilities in nurturing and promoting health of migrant workers, families and communities
5. To conduct activities for public interests or collaborate with other non-profit organizations for public interests
